Texas A&M Football: Game-by-game predictions for 2019 season
A bad taste is left in the Aggies’ mouth as a victory over Clemson slipped out of their grasps for a second straight year but with the Lamar Cardinals coming into Kyle Field, it’s business as usual for Texas A&M as they look to take out their frustrations on their incoming opponent.
Kellen Mond and the Aggies’ offense take control and pour it on the Cardinals. And thanks to the Texas A&M defense, the offense is able to grab some extra possessions in the first half and enter halftime with a 38-0 lead.
Lamar makes it somewhat interesting in the second half, right? Not even close as the Aggies’ backups get in on the action and almost match the starters’ first half point total. Lamar is able to get on the board but does nothing but prevent a shutout on the Aggies behalf.
Aggies win big and get back above .500.
Final Score: Lamar 7, Texas A&M 66 (2-1)
