When you’re in the SEC, almost every conference game is going to be against a ranked opponent. In their fourth game of the season, the Aggies take on the Auburn Tigers who face a similar start to the 2019 season. Although it’s in a different order, the Tigers enter this Week 4 SEC showdown following games against two smaller schools and one against a ranked non-conference opponent.

More from Texas A&M Aggies

Auburn took down A&M last year 28-24, taking the 4-3 lead in the series since A&M joined the SEC back in 2012. While some have Auburn winning this one and while most have it a close game, I have something else in mind. This is the game in which the Aggies take the next step in the Jimbo Fisher era.

Kellen Mond has a career day and puts everyone on Heisman notice as he leads the Aggies to a big time victory.

But the headliner of the game will be the Aggies’ defense who take control of the game and excel in all aspects of the game. From sacks and interceptions to time of possession and turnovers, the Aggie defense makes it case for one of the best in the nation. The Tigers break double-digits but fall in this one.

Final: Auburn 17, Texas A&M 37 (3-1, 1-0 SEC)
