Week 1’s College GameDay didn’t disappoint, but what signs took the cake as the best? Auburn and Oregon fans showed up and showed out.

Sure, everyone watches ESPN College GameDay because of the football knowledge provided by Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Rece Davis and Desmond Howard, along with a guest picker, but secretly everyone is paying attention to the signs.

It’s heart-warming to see the crew back talking about football ahead of a full Saturday of action but the signs took center stage because, well, they’re prominent in the background.

But obviously there were some signs that were better than others. Since this week’s Auburn vs. Oregon GameDay focus takes place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the coverage wasn’t on an actual college campus, so there weren’t as many team-specific jabs as there would be if it was in front of mostly students.

That will change as the week’s progress, but the signs still didn’t disappoint as Duck and Tiger fans showed off their humor.

So honest it hurts.

See, Tate, people still want you.

Swipe right.

Little brother syndrome?

Check back in next week for some of the best College GameDay signs from fans as it should get even more ruthless on an actual campus.
