The Gators came out of Week 0 with a close win over Miami, but it wasn’t very confidence-instilling. There’s still a huge question mark in Feleipe Franks, who came out of the game with a QBR of 38.6. Considering Dan Mullen’s status as quarterback whisperer, the offensive struggle from Florida is concerning for Gator fans.

Perhaps in week two things will come together against UT-Martin. It’s imperative that Mullen and co. figure things out, as they’ll travel to Lexington to play Kentucky the following week. A second consecutive loss to the Wildcats would not bode well for a team trying to regain the swagger of past regimes.

The Aggies hummed to a 41-7 victory over Texas State on Saturday, and it appears Kellen Mond is continuing to get better under Jimbo Fisher.

However, the true test will come in week two. Now that Week a is in the books, all focus can now be put on the trip to Clemson. Last year, the Aggies close loss made the country realize that Fisher may have something to work with in College Station. If, now in year two, Fisher can pull off the upset in Death Valley, his presence as one of the SEC’s top coaches will have been cemented.
