Week 2 has a nice slate of games including some big ranked versus ranked college football matchups. Who will be on upset alert this weekend?

It was a great long weekend with four consecutive days filled with a slate of college football. While there were some good games, Week 1 was a mere appetizer compared to what is on tap for Week 2.

There are two monster games with Texas A&M at Clemson in the afternoon and LSU at Texas in prime time. Both games have national implications on the playoff landscape. In addition to those games, there are several others with potential and interesting story lines.

Recapping last week’s upset picks, we started off the season going three for five which was a great way to kick things off. Purdue fell to Nevada, South Carolina lost to North Carolina in Mack Browns re-debut, and in one of the bigger upsets of the weekend, Boise State beat Florida State. Maybe at some point, we will all stop calling it an upset when Boise State wins but for now, it still is.

As for Week 2, during the off-season a trendy upset pick was Army over Michigan. After the Black Knights lackluster victory over Rice last week, just do not think they have enough firepower to go into the Big House and win.

Nevertheless, the following five games are intriguing enough to be close and the underdogs most certainly have golden opportunities to win. Let’s get to the picks and the odds for each game are provided by Bovada.
