1. There’s a wide talent gap

If the NFL is NASCAR, then college football is Indy Car. There isn’t equity in the college game. The universities with the resources get the better players, and in this game Ohio State has the better players. They are the ones with the four and five-star athletes. It’s the Buckeyes, not the Bearcats, who look like three-quarters of their roster will play on Sundays.

Cincinnati is going to leave everything on the field this Saturday. Luke Fickell will have his squad motivated and prepared to play, but Ohio State’s talent will eventually take over. The Buckeyes are deep on their defensive line and will keep throwing bodies at Cincy’s offensive line until they break.

Cincinnati is going to do their best to keep the game within reach, but as Ohio State takes their game to another level, the Bearcats simply won’t have the talent to keep up.

Ryan Day will have the Buckeyes focused, and ready as well. The Bearcats will come out with a lot of energy early in the game, and Ohio State needs to absorb that, and allow their talent to take over the game.
