The Army Black Knights travel to Ann Arbor to take on Big Ten favorite Michigan football at the Big House. Can the Knights pull off the upset?
This is one of the more intriguing week two matchups of Week 2. Head coach Jeff Monken brings his triple-option attack to Ann Arbor when the Army Black Knights visit the Big House for a Saturday kickoff at high noon against the Michigan Wolverines and their new spread offense under new offensive coordinator Josh Gattis.
Both the Black Knights and the Wolverines are coming off of victories in their Week 1 matchups. Army won a close 14-7 game against the improved Rice Owls while Michigan dismantled the Middle Tennessee Raiders 40-21.
The Black Knights struggled to finish drives, but made some key plays to finish the Owls. The Wolverines took a minute to get going, but when they did they rolled on their way to victory.
Can the Black Knights shock the world and upset the Wolverines on the road at Michigan Stadium? Will the home favorites take care of business on their journey to the Big Ten championship and possibly the College Football Playoff?
It’s time to get bold.
