2. Missouri defense will force three turnovers

The shinning light on the defensive side of the ball last week was Cale Garrett. Garrett had 16 total tackles with a whopping 12 of them being solo tackles. Outside of Garrett, the defense was scrutinized for sloppy play and missed tackles.

The biggest take away for me from last week, was the lack of turnovers. This defense is one year removed from 10 interceptions and seven forced fumbles. Losing the turnover battle is probably what ultimately cost them the game last weekend.

Bold prediction No. 2 is that the Missouri defense gets three takeaways from a sub-par West Virginia offense which should help engineer a bounce-back victory in Week 2. This defense is going to make things happen on Saturday afternoon.
