2. A battle of talented wide receiver groups

Both of these teams have extremely talented wide receiver corps that could make game-changing plays on Saturday. I wouldn’t even put one over the other in terms of who has more talent either, it is about even and will come down to who makes the big plays when they are needed the most because this one is going to be close for sure. Let’s look at each of these groups, starting with the Clemson Tigers.

Sophomore Justyn Ross and junior Tee Higgins lead this unit and are both extremely talented. Higgins led the team a season ago with 12 touchdowns and Ross had a team-high 1,000 receiving yards last year. Those two, along with the other guys that Clemson has chilling on the sideline ready to come in at any point could spell disaster for an A&M secondary with a heck of a lot to prove.

That brings us to the Aggies, who have quite a few game-changers of their own. Kendrick Rogers and Quartney Davis were big players in the game a year ago, making plays when their team needed it most. Davis was the center of that “touchback” play but made quite a few big plays outside of that. Kendrick Rogers really broke out in this game and continued toward a strong season. Now, with Jhamon Ausbon really breaking out as well, this one could get interesting.
