1. Virginia shuts out William & Mary

Not only did Virginia shut down Pittsburgh in every quarter but the second when the Panthers scored their only two touchdowns of the game, but the Cavaliers also forced a couple of turnovers with some Kenny Pickett picks.

The Cavaliers’ defense is also one of the best in the ACC and it brought back seven starters from a season ago, including potential All-American cornerback Bryce Hall. On top of that, Jordan Mack is one of the most underrated linebackers in the country. This defense should be enough to hold a team like William & Mary scoreless for 60 minutes.

While shutting anyone out at the collegiate level isn’t easy, William & Mary isn’t exactly an offensive juggernaut. The Tribe did gain over 400 yards and 255 of it came on the ground against Lafayette but, well, it was only Lafayette.

The Tribe also have a bit of a quarterback problem as neither threw for more than 100 yards and they combined for 11 completions on 22 attempts for no scores through the air. It’s going to get ugly for the Tribe, leading to a shutout.
