3. Cincinnati will bounce back

It’s fair to call this game a complete blowout. However, this will not be indicative of Cincinnati’s future performance for the rest of the 2019 season. As mentioned, their first win of the season against the Bruins was a quality victory. However, unlike that game, the Bearcats were on the road in Week 2 against an Ohio State team that will likely compete for the College Football National Championship.

On the horizon, the Bearcats really only have three other challenging opponents left on their schedule. They play the UCF Knights at home, have to travel to take on the Houston Cougars, and finish off the regular season on the road against the Memphis Tigers.

Despite these three games, Cincinnati should easily win their other games and finish the year with a record of at least, 8-4. This will allow them to find themselves in a quality bowl game. However, their potential remains much higher if they can knock off any of these three tougher teams.
