College football’s second week of action is in the books and some quarterbacks stood out. Who had the top quarterback performances in Week 2?
Like Week 1, there were close football games through out the day Saturday along with several upsets and surprises. Week 2 also consisted of some poor quarterback play as well as superb performances. However, there was more good than bad this week, which made putting together this weeks list tough.
Below are the factors and requirements that go in to putting together this list, just like the previous week.
Stats of course go a long way, but we like to look at the film and see how it was they put up those numbers. If Quarterback A had three touchdowns that were all downfield throws or put into a small window, that would have more weight than if Quarterback B had four touchdowns all on screens or shuffle passes. The only requirement to make the list is that the quarterback’s opponent is not an FCS foe.
It doesn’t matter if it is a quarterback from the Power Five, Group of Five or Independent, we will do our best to put the top five performances of the week here.
