From blowouts to over time thrillers, Week 2 of Big Ten football saw it all. See who made a jump and who fell in this week’s power rankings.

Week 2 of Big Ten football provided much more entertainment than what we were given in Week 1. The Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Michigan Wolverines both found themselves winners in overtime, while the Nebraska Cornhuskers blew their lead against Colorado and came out of Boulder with an overtime loss.

The Iowa Hawkeyes, Ohio State Buckeyes, Wisconsin Badgers and Indiana Hoosiers pitched shut outs in their Week 2 wins, out scoring their opponents 185-0. The Penn State Nittany Lions had a slow first half but bounced backed with a 38-point second half to pick up win No. 2 on the season.

The rest of the Big Ten games’ results were as expected — well, all but one. While many thought that the Maryland Terrapins had a good chance to beat Syracuse, I do not think anyone envisioned the 63-20 beatdown they gave the Orange.

With a somewhat-wild weekend of Big Ten football, let’s take a look at the updated power rankings for the conference.
