2. Colorado State at Arkansas

This game is interesting on several different levels. Firstly, Colorado State beat Arkansas last year by a score of 34-27. Arkansas traveled to Colorado State and blew a fourth quarter lead as Colorado State scored 17 points in the fourth quarter to come back and when.

The Mountain West as a whole has had success against Power Five schools as they have won six games against Power Five schools this year alone. That leads every conference with wins against Power Five schools so far this year. Most of these wins have come against Pac-12 schools, but Boise State defeated Florida State in Week 1 and Wyoming knocked off Missouri as well.

An SEC school has already lost to a Mountain West school this year and Arkansas will be aiming not to be the second.

Colorado State is 1-1 on the year as their offense looks to be good as expected. Head coach Mike Bobo will be looking to add another win against a Power Five school for the Mountain West.

Arkansas was coming into the season with expectations of improvement, but so far look like last year. They are 1-1 as well with a 20-13 win against Portland State and a 31-17 loss against Ole Miss. Arkansas will be giving quarterback Nick Starkel his first start of the season, who has looked better than Ben Hicks when given the opportunity this season so far.
