1. Dolphins: QB Tua Tagovailoa

Week 1 could not have gone worse for the Dolphins. Lamar Jackson carved up the Dolphin defense, and after Miami’s 59-10 loss, several players reportedly asked to be traded.

Given that result, it continues to be more and more obvious that Miami will be completely reshaping its image in the coming years. That rebuild will start at the quarterback position.

That quarterback will be Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa. Through the first two weeks of the season, he’s compiled 563 yards and seven touchdowns, with no interceptions. He’s also completed 76.4 percent of his throws.

Tua has the arm strength to make any throw. He’s shown that from the beginning, with that deep strike to win the 2017 National Championship. From that moment, he’s also displayed the kind of maturity and leadership that is required to lead, and revive, an NFL franchise.
