2. Bengals: Chase Young, EDGE, Ohio State

Just a reminder that this mock is a prediction of what teams will do, not a suggestion as to what they should do. Justin Herbert is available, and perhaps the best move here would be to draft Andy Dalton’s successor.

However, this organization has proven to be slow to move off of players. So, instead of Herbert, the Bengals will likely take the draft’s best edge rusher.

Through two games, Chase Young has racked up three sacks, three tackles for loss, and eight total tackles. He’s been one of the best players in college football this season and he’s only getting started. He’s an absolute physical specimen.

With the Bengals, he and Carlos Dunlap would make a formidable pass-rushing duo.
