Arizona State travels to East Lansing to take on Michigan State football on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET. Here’s why the Spartans will win.
Both the Spartans and the Sun Devils look to continue their winning ways in the second leg of a home and home series between both schools.
The Spartans (2-0) come into this home game having defeated Tulsa and Western Michigan. The Sun Devils (2-0) have less impressive wins against Kent State and Sacramento State.
Arizona State makes the trek north to take on the Michigan State Spartans. If the Sun Devils hope to make it out of East Lansing with a victory they’ll do so with a true freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels. The San Bernardino, Calif., native has the task of cracking the code of one of the best defenses in all of college football in his third game ever.
The Michigan State Spartans and Brian Lewerke hope the offense can continue to play as well as they did in their dominant 51-17 rout of the Western Michigan Broncos. Lewerke looked sharp completing 72 percent of his passes for 314 yards and three touchdowns. The Spartans might have found a star in redshirt freshman Elijah Collins who ran for 192 yards.
The Spartans are 14.5-point favorites and should win this one. If you are a Spartans fan, here’s why they will beat Arizona State.
