Kansas football got the win over Boston College in dominant fashion on Saturday. What did we learn from the Jayhawk victory?

Friday the 13th brought us one of the more shocking sites in college football. On Friday night, on the road at Boston College, Kansas got the win by a big margin. On the way there, the Jayhawks did just about whatever they wanted.

Les Miles had a shaky first two weeks in Lawrence, but the win does wonders for the Kansas program. Boston College is a good Power Five team, and the Jayhawks had their way, especially offensively.

For Steve Addazio and the Eagles, this is a deflating loss. This team had gotten off to a strong 2-0 start, but a loss to Kansas serves as a screeching hault to the momentum. Going forward, it will be important to put this game behind them. It wasn’t an ACC loss, and while deflating, Boston College can’t let it effect them going forward.

As far as Kansas goes, this was such a rewarding win. This program has been down for so long, and getting a victory like this is a sign that things can get better.
