Oklahoma State football has a huge game next week, but first they must go on the road to Tulsa. Can the Cowboys get the victory away from home?

The beginning of the Oklahoma State season has been relatively quiet, mainly because they’ve been so dominant. Against both Oregon State and McNeese, the Cowboys put up over 50 points. On Saturday, they’re hoping to do the same.

The obvious threat here is the look-ahead potential. Oklahoma State goes on the road to Texas next week, but they’ll need to stay focused on the task at hand.

Tulsa lost a tough game to Michigan State in week one, but turned around and beat San Jose State by a score of 34-16 on the road. Philip Montgomery’s team would love to pull this upset at home.

Keys to Victory

Spencer Sanders is off to a hot start, so the Cowboys want more of the same from him. Through two games, he has 453 yards and six touchdowns, while completing 73.8 percent of his throws and having yet to throw an interception.

Tulsa is averaging only 91.5 rushing yards per game. For this offense to have success, they have to get Shamari Brooks going.
