Alabama football overpowered South Carolina to pull away late. What can we take away from this SEC contest in Week 3?

Early on in this one, it seemed as though South Carolina was up to the task to compete with the Tide. The Alabama football team just proved to be too much in this one. Chunk plays from extremely fast receivers and running backs continued to put Alabama out of reach.

Tua Tagovailoa played a near perfect game. He set a new record for passing yards with 444. He also set a single game record for completions in a game by an Alabama quarterback with 28. Tua continues to look like the Heisman hopeful from a year ago.

On the other side of the ball, Ryan Hilinski came into his own in his first SEC start of his career. He was asked to do a lot with a career high 57 pass attempts. Hilinski finished the game with 324 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and only one interception. He has cemented himself as the starter moving forward for the Gamecocks.

What are the three big takeaways that we learned from this game?
