Ohio State football defeated Indiana in dominant fashion on Saturday. What did we learn from the Buckeye victory in Week 3?

On Saturday, Ohio State absolutely had its way with Indiana. In ever facet of the game, the Buckeyes dominated.  With that victory, the Buckeyes move to 3-0, and host Miami of Ohio next week.

As far as the Hoosiers go, this puts them at 2-1 on the season. They’ll play host to UConn next week, before going on the road to Michigan State on the 28th of this month.

3. Buckeyes played stifling defense

The stat that tells the whole story of the game would have to be that of the Hoosiers’ rushing yards per carry. On the day, they were only able to manage 1.4 yards per carry.

Chase Young was his usual, disruptive self against the Hoosiers. He had two sacks, and along with the three other Buckeyes that recorded sacks, was a big part of Peyton Ramsey’s struggles all day long.

Holding an opponent under 250 yards of offense is an impressive feat. On Saturday, Ohio State made it look easy.
