2. Zach Wilson has come into his own

Through the first two games of the season, Zach Wilson was one of BYU’s biggest question marks. On Saturday, he answered many of those questions.

Much like Slovis, Wilson is a freshman who has had to figure things out as he goes this year. Unlike Slovis, Wilson’s start wasn’t nearly as smooth.Aside from a few late throws against Tennessee, many felt that Wilson wasn’t capable of being a high level starting quarterback.

He couldn’t have responded better on Saturday. On the game, Wilson went 20 of 33 for 280 yards and two touchdowns. He found the end zone on the ground as well.

He even drew comparisons to Johnny Manziel from the broadcasters.

On the arm of Zach Wilson, this BYU team has already thrown a monkey wrench into two power programs’ seasons.
