1. Playmakers make the offense go

No matter how great Justin Herbert is, if he does not have strong, talented players to get the ball to, it does not matter what he can do.

Herbert has found a pair of reliable and end zone-hunting playmakers this year in wide receiver Johnny Johnson III and tight end Jacob Breeland. The pair combined for 13 catches for 125 yards and scored four touchdowns, with each one hitting paydirt twice.

Travis Dye also went over the 100-yard mark to provide balance to the offense with Herbert.

We all know that Oregon will do a balanced job when it comes to giving out carries and using the hot-hand approach to the backfield, but receivers are different and need that ball to succeed. If Johnson, Breeland and the rest of the gang can continue to work in sync with Herbert, there should be no slowing them down.
