2. Bryan Harsin

When in need of a Pac-12 coach look no further than the leading team of the Pac-12 junior conference, Boise State. Chris Petersen left the Broncos in good hands whenever he made his move to the Washington Huskies. Bryan Harsin, Petersen’s successor, has stacked up a 55-15 record.

His first signature win came in 2015 when he beat Petersen and his Washington Huskies. A victory over Mick Leach’s Washington State squad the next year and a victory over the Oregon Ducks in 2017 proves one thing. Coach Harsin isn’t simply winning off of Petersen’s success, he has organized his own winning mentality.

The Washington Huskies have had continual success after the hiring of Petersen. Five consecutive winning seasons and a trip to the College Football Playoff rank high on the coach’s list of achievements.

USC would be stupid to pass up the opportunity to bring in Harsin. And even though he shares important ties with Boise, being raised in the city and graduating from the University, you can’t tell me that he wouldn’t take the Southern California job in a heart beat.
