Three weeks of college football have given us a better idea of how the first round of our latest 2020 NFL Mock Draft might shake out.

The college football season is off and running, and the top prospects for the 2020 NFL Draft have already begun separating themselves from the pack.

The 2019 class was known for its deep and talented defensive front. The 2020 class is littered with talent all over the field. There’s high end talent at quarterback, wide receiver, offensive tackle, edge rushers, linebackers, and defensive backs.

NFL teams have already started their “Tank for Tua” campaigns for the transcendent Alabama quarterback, but Oregon’s Justin Herbert will push Tagovailoa for the top selection in the draft. While the top two quarterbacks look to be significantly ahead of the other signal-callers in this class, there’s plenty of talent at other positions that will serve as great consolation prizes for teams who miss out on those two.

Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy might be the most talented player in the draft class, and he could push to be the first receiver taken with the No. 1 overall pick since Keyshawn Johnson in 1996. Ohio State edge rusher Chase Young might be just as talented as his former teammate Nick Bosa, and he’ll be another pushing for the top overall draft selection if a team that doesn’t need a quarterback ends up getting the top overall pick.

The draft order is sure to change, and other prospects will come out of nowhere between now and the end of the season to move up boards.

I used FPI’s projected draft order as of Sept. 10 for the order here, so yell at them, not me about the order of selections her (looking at you, Browns fans).
