Scouting Report. 2. player. Pick Analysis. QB. Oregon. Justin Herbert. 48

Justin Herbert eschewed the potential of being a top-10 pick last April to return to Oregon for his senior season. At 6-foot-6 with a rocket arm, Herbert has all the physical tools that will put him in contention for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft.

Herbert has been brilliant in the early part of the 2019 season. While the Ducks suffered an early slip-up in the season opener in Arlington to Auburn, Herbert and company figure to still be a serious contender for the Pac-12 championship and a berth in the Rose Bowl.

The Buccaneers will likely be moving on from former No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston after this season. The former Heisman Trophy winner from Florida State has consistently struggled with turnovers throughout his five years in the NFL, and that doesn’t seem to be changing with a new head coach in Bruce Arians.

Herbert has taken care of the ball throughout his time in Eugene. In over 900 career pass attempts, he’s thrown just 17 interceptions. That’s music to Arians’ ears.
