Overreacting is what fans do best and especially after a blowout road win. Clemson football fans are already looking forward to the playoff.

Clemson football is undefeated after three weeks of play, to no one’s surprise, and the Tigers might just coast to a perfect season and yet another berth in the College Football Playoff.

Let’s completely overreact to the Tigers’ blowout road win over Syracuse.

3. Trevor Lawrence not as good as we thought

Let’s address the elephant in the room quickly. Of Trevor Lawrence is as good as we think, absolutely he is, and with out a doubt.

Lawrence is a sophomore who had every expectation imaginable put on him this year based off his superb true freshman season, and rightfully so.

With that said, there is still plenty of room for development. Lawrence has all the tools to be the best quarterback in college football and a potential NFL star, and while he showcases them daily, he is still in a developmental stage as a quarterback. However, due to the slow start of this season I get the question, but the answer is 100 percent of course he is as good as we thought he was.

Lawrence has already thrown more interceptions this year so far (5) than he did all of last year (4). I’m sure that is a stat that has been thrown around the past day or two. And while he has struggled at times, the Tigers have still won their games with ease. They have beaten Georgia Tech by 38, Texas A&M by 14 and Syracuse by 35.

Lawrence has not been bad, by any means, as there are just a lot of expectation to live up to.

If Lawrence isn’t playing his best football and still leading Clemson to big wins, I would hate to be a team on Clemson’s schedule later on in the year when he is playing like a Heisman candidate because he will sooner or later.
