Week 3 was another wild one in college football, but the top teams held their own. Who would make up the College Football Playoff field today?

Once again, a college football Saturday was exhausting, thrilling, and nerve-wracking. However, once again on this Saturday, the teams at the very top of the sport all held serve.

These are the teams that would make the cut for the playoff if the season ended today.

1. Clemson

The Tigers were dominant, as usual, on Saturday. At the Carrier Dome, they took down Syracuse by a score of 41-6. Clemson was superior in every facet of the game.

Trevor Lawrence threw for 395 yard and three touchdowns. Altogether, the Tigers compiled 221 yards on the ground. Tee Higgins had 150 receiving yards, and Amari Rodgers had 121.

Through the first two weeks, the offense had its hiccups and stutters. On Saturday night, the Tiger offense was a well oiled machine.

What’s next for the Tigers?

A look at the schedule shows little to no challenge for Clemson on the remainder of the year. Next week, they’ll host Charlotte at home.
