2. Alabama

Saturday was a return to tradition. On CBS, the Crimson Tide completely dominated a conference foe once again. This time, it was South Carolina.

Tua Tagovailoa had a few career highs on Saturday, going 28-of-36 for 444 yards and five touchdowns.

This game was valuable for Alabama, because they did face resistance. Ryan Hilinski had a strong game for South Carolina, throwing the ball 57 times for 324 yards and two scores. For the Tide, it was the most potent passing attack they’d seen in this young season.

What’s next for the Tide?

Next week, the Tide back out of conference play to host Southern Miss. They’ll be heavy favorites, and should still be undefeated when they host Ole Miss on the 28th of September.
