1. Kellen Mond bounced back

Yes, Kellen Mond looked a million times better than he did in Week 2 against Clemson. He made the throws that were necessary and his team found the endzone multiple times. His running backs did what they were supposed to do and the offensive line seemed to play extremely well. To put it mildly, the offense was clicking on all cylinders against Lamar.

But it’s just that, it was Lamar. I will give it to Mond that he fought against the No. 1 team in the nation a week ago and that does give a little bit of breathing room for him. That being said though, his performance was horrid and he barely was able to put a touchdown on the board and the one he did was in garbage time as time clicked off the board in the late fourth quarter.

Simply put, there is a lot riding on Mond against Auburn in Week 4. It will help that this will be a home game, but the Aggies have yet to beat Auburn at home since joining the SEC. If that is going to change on Saturday, he is going to have to put together a stellar performance and put everything else in the rearview mirror.
