Offense

Quarterback: A+

Dillon Gabriel, take a bow young man. If there was any debate about the quarterback position heading into the weekend, that debate is put to rest with McKenzie Milton out. Gabriel was incredible against a solid Stanford secondary, and threw for 347 yards and four touchdowns.

Gabriel has shown himself as the man for the job and had a great command of the offense in Week 3. Any doubts on UCF’s offense were questions about players under center, but now the UCF offense is back and rolling again.

Running Backs: A

The four horsemen dominated the line of scrimmage, led by Greg McCrae. He was a huge factor against the Stanford defense, running for 109 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown.  His best run was a 79 yard run when the Knights were pinned back deep in their own territory, and set them up in the red zone. The Knights four running backs as a whole rushed for 222 yards and two touchdowns, another incredible performance.

Wide Receivers: A

Fact: Paulson Adebo will be a great NFL cornerback in the future, and he is the star for the Cardinal defense.

Also a fact: Gabriel Davis made him look like an absolute fool. Burning him on a double move for 38 yard touchdown.

The best play of the game for the Knights was that score, a perfectly thrown ball on a perfectly run route, and the Knights receivers had a lot of success all afternoon. Four different receivers found the end zone for the Knights, led by Tre Nixon with five catches 88 yards and a touchdown.

Another great wrinkle for the Knights, big tight end Jake Hescock had his best game of the season, catching four passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Offensive Line: A-

The offensive line did a great job in this one, not allowing a sack and keep Gabriel upright the entire game, mostly. Stanford also only had one quarterback hurry all game long.

The only dig on the offensive line in this one is a few penalties that made the drives more difficult, but it didn’t deter the offense whatsoever.
