Boise State football is coming off of a blowout win against Portland State, looking to continue their Mountain West dominance over Air Force.

Hank Bachmeier and the Boise State Broncos take on the pesky Air Force Falcons on The Blue Friday evening. After losing the last three out of four matchups to the Falcons, Boise State looks to bounce back at home and start Mountain West play on a good note.

Boise State has started the season off 3-0 for the first time since 2016 and has high aspirations of a New Years Six bowl game as long as they can avoid any slip-ups.

The breakout true freshman Bachmeier leads the Broncos with four touchdowns and almost 900 passing yards in just three games. He has jolted the questionable Broncos to wins over Florida State and Marshall thus far in his first three collegiate appearances.

The Falcons have long been a thorn in the side of Boise State. Beating them three consecutive times from 2015-17 and crushing any New Year’s Six Bowl dreams that have come the Broncos way. We will see the triple option ran for Air Force as it has been a staple in past years. Air force is coming off a huge win at Colorado where they beat their in-state rival 30-23 on the road.

Boise State will have to fend off the triple-option Achilles heel they have had in the past decade to win a big one at home. With a tenacious front-seven, it looks more doable than ever.
