2. Patch up the offensive line

The offensive line came into the 2019 season as a big strength for the Broncos. Bringing back experience and a whole plethora of talent up front, the line was poised for a big season. Like any team, Boise State has really struggled with injuries. The unit that has been hit the hardest seems to be the big men upfront.

Boise State started two redshirt freshman on Saturday due to injuries, while John Molchon, the most tenured uninjured OL has now started at three different positions along the offensive line.

The Broncos still ran well against the Big Sky opponent Portland State, but will certainly need to patch things up along the front if they want to stand a chance against a better Air Force.

Overall, the run blocking has not been the main issue for the Broncos, but instead the pass protection. Hank Bachmeier has been hit more than anyone in the country, and for the freshman to last a whole season, the offensive line will have to get healthy and go down the depth chart for some usable freshman.
