After a mild week three in college football, the Week 4 slate delivers some massive matchups that will directly impact the national championship race.
This week’s college football slate is the juiciest of the young season, highlighted by three ranked vs. ranked matchups that will play a significant role in the separating of the elite teams in the nation.
Notre Dame travels to Georgia in the biggest game of the weekend, but conference matchups between Auburn and Texas A&M and Michigan and Wisconsin will also have a significant impact on the race for the college football playoff.
Along with the ranked vs. ranked matchups, we still have some intriguing non-conference matchups as well as some other spicy conference matchups that will all play a role in how conference races, and potentially the New Year’s Six, plays out.
Last week was the first .500 week for the picks against the spread, but we’re still hitting at a more than respectable 56 percent against the spread and 76 percent straight up. There’s some interesting lines this week, and several toss-up games, that make this what I view as the toughest week of gambling thus far. That either means I’m heading for a great week, or a massive course correction.
