Week 4 features a slate of more conference games as we round out the first third of the college football season. Which teams will be on upset alert?

With this being the last weekend before the calendar officially turns to autumn, more conference matchups are on Week 4’s schedule. There are also three ranked versus ranked games this week so the weekend already looks better than Week 3 did on paper.

We are going in the wrong direction as far as out picks. Started off the year with three upsets predicted correctly, followed by two, but last week we only hit one correct upset. USC fell victim to BYU in overtime. Iowa did inch by rival Iowa State by a point so the game could have gone either way as most rivalry games can.

We’re hoping this week will yield better results from higher quality games.

As mentioned, there are some big games this week with two monster matchups involving SEC teams. The Big Ten also will see Michigan travel take on Wisconsin in an early indicator of how good both of those teams are.

With it being the last weekend before conference play really gets going, which matchups have the best chance for an upset? The following are five games to keep an eye on. The point spreads for each are provided by Bovada.
