After an emotional win from UCF, and hot starts from a few Group of Five teams, who could be on upset alert in Week 4?
The Group of Five has come out of the gates on fire in 2019. With Hawaii going 2-1 against the Pac-12 in non-conference matchups, and notable wins just about everywhere you look when it comes to beating Power Five teams. One of the biggest came from last week’s UCF win against Stanford where they beat the Cardinal, 45-27.
Very few have a chance to beat out UCF at this moment, with their schedule looking like they will be favored in every matchup from here on out. There is, however, a chance that UCF could slip up in the coming weeks and allow the door to open for the likes of Boise State, Temple, and even Memphis.
It only takes 60 minutes to lose out on having a chance to not only be ranked in the top 25, but a real opportunity to change a program. With the season just starting and teams getting huge wins against SEC, Big 12, and Pac-12 teams, the expectations are sky-high.
To get a shot at a New Years Six Bowl you have to be almost perfect. Losing a game could cost you a chance to prove yourself on the biggest stage. We have five teams this week that could cost themselves a chance at one of the big ones.
