1. It won’t be enough for Notre Dame to beat Georgia

I think both of these teams have a lot of promise this year, but there is simply too much going Georgia’s way in my opinion. The Bulldogs are healthier, higher rated, and they’re playing at home. Fromm has been tested in his fair share of tough games, and he usually responds with good performances. Even in games that Georgia has lost in previous years, Fromm does well.

He might not be as good as Jonathan Taylor or Travis Etienne, but D’Andre Swift if easily the best running back in the SEC. His ability to affect the running and  passing game makes him the X-factor in this one. Georgia has the ability to remain balanced on offense behind a great offensive line and talent across the board, and Notre Dame simply can’t say that.

Even if Ian Book has a great game, I don’t think it will be enough to overcome Georgia at home. Fromm will be responding with plays of his own, and he has done it on a bigger stage.

If this game stays close in the fourth quarter, Georgia has one of the best kickers in college football with Rodrigo Blankenship. I trust him to make just about any kick that Kirby Smart asks of him.

Can Notre Dame win this game? Absolutely. They have the coaching and talent to do so. However, I just don’t see them pulling it off in this one. They could easily prove me wrong, but we’ll have to wait and see.
