Washington football looks to continue climbing up the polls facing a tough BYU team on the road in Week 4, who is coming off a huge win.
The Huskies have started the season 2-1, with their lone loss coming from a very fluky night game at home against California in which they had two rain/lightning delays and started the game at almost midnight. Washington Football is no doubt looking for some style points in Provo.
Although the California Bears and the Huskies ended up playing all four quarters, UW had almost no one in attendance and had their home field advantage almost all but taken away by the delays in the game.
After the loss, Washington dropped all the way to the mid-’20s in the national polls and is looking to get back to show that they are legit Pac-12 contenders this year.
BYU, on the other hand, started receiving votes this last week after they beat a ranked USC team at home in overtime. True sophomore Zach Wilson ran wild on the USC defense and was able to pull BYU to their second win in a row against Power Five opponents.
Washington looks like they are going to be a tougher challenge for BYU to get by with more experience and firepower than the Trojans set forth. QB transfer Jacob Eason leads the Washington offense and could be one of the best quarterbacks in the country, he will be tested Saturday afternoon in a hostile environment that is LaVell Edwards Stadium.
