Southern Miss comes to town in what should be another blow out win for Alabama football. Here is everything you need to know about the matchup.

Alabama complained about this one and being stuck with the early morning time slot, but here we are. When you play a nobody school, you don’t get the prime time slot- that is just how it is.

On that note, Alabama’s offense gets another chance to flex its muscles and the defense gets to shut down yet another team.

So, if you’re a Tide fan, here is everything you need to catch this one:

Keys to Victory

This one is pretty simple. Alabama just has to not suck. They have to play their game in every facet and not give up anything big, which they won’t. Look at this as another tune up game for the Tide before SEC West play really gets going. That Texas A&M matchup is only two weeks away after all.

For Tua, this is just another highlight reel opportunity. He will be expected to play at a high level and boost his stats. Najee Harris will as well. But, it’s the Alabama defense that I am really watching. Can they finally pull off a shut out?

Prediction

This is Alabama’s game, though some fans may not even show up due to how much they are favored by and the quality of the opponent. Look for the Tide to put up big points in this one, but they won’t grab the shutout they are really looking for. Tua will boost his stats and further prove he belongs in the Heisman race and Alabama will cruise to victory.

Final Score: Alabama 49, Southern Miss 10
