Auburn football makes the trip to College Station to take on Texas A&M on Saturday. What will it take for the Tigers to bring home the victory?

Gus Mazlahn and the Tigers go on the road Saturday, and this may be the toughest test of the year. Auburn, led by freshman quarterback Bo Nix, will be underdogs when they step onto Kyle Field on Saturday. However, there are plenty of reasons for excitement on the plains.

Auburn has already pulled off one big win this year, so they’re confident they can do it again. Going on the road to Kyle Field is a bit different than a neutral site game, but this team is capable of taking that step up in intensity.

The freshman quarterback is the big storyline, but it isn’t the only one. The Tiger defensive front is one of the best in the country, and their ability to get to Kellen Mond is a vital thread for Saturday.

Auburn’s run game has proven to be a reliable source of production through the first quarter of the year as well.

On the plains, there are an excess of reason’s to be excited about this matchup. Since 2012, Auburn’s matchup with Texas A&M has become an important, enthralling part of the SEC.
