1. Contain Ty Chandler

Speaking of running the ball, with all the focus Jarrett Guarantano, Ty Chandler has been quietly putting together for a solid season.

Chandler has been averaging 5.9 yards per carry, rushing for 248 yards and two touchdowns. The Volunteers have three running backs that run the ball well, but Chandler is the big play threat. His best performance was against BYU, as he went off for 26 carries and 154 yards.

It creates a clash in styles, as Florida’s rushing defense has been one of the best in the country. The Gators currently rank No. 30 in the country in rush defense, and only allow 2.7 yards per rush.

This defense is fast and moves to the ball really well. If the Gators can continue to control the rushing game, they should avoid the upset and beat the Volunteers.
