Washington State football plays its first conference game of the year against the UCLA Bruins. Here are three things to watch for on Saturday night.

Anthony Gordon and the Washington State Cougars start Pac-12 conference play at home against the UCLA Bruins. We will see the Cougars stretch the Bruin defense out and light up the scoreboard on Saturday. As 18.5 point favorites at home, Washington State football looks to show the sold out Pullman crowd just how good they are.

Washington State has a chance to go 4-0 for the first time in five years and has that opportunity now in front of their home crowd. Throwing for over 1300 yards in just three games, with 12 touchdowns, the senior quarterback Anthony Gordon is primed for another great game on Saturday.

While the focus for the air raid offense is to distribute the ball to all of the playmakers within the offense, we should see a lot running back Max Borghi as well. The speedster will be highlighted not only on the ground but will be given ample opportunities coming out of the backfield to catch passes as well.

The offense is always at the forefront of every Mike Leach offense, but there should be plenty of Cougar defense surrounding Dorian Thompson-Robinson and the UCLA offense that has struggled so far. DTR has been sacked nine times through just three games and the Bruins are looking for anyone to step up after an 0-3 start to their season. Here are three predictions on what might happen on Saturday night for Pac-12 after dark.
