Colorado football takes on Arizona State on Saturday night for a Pac-12 after dark match up in Boulder. Here are three keys to a Buffaloes win.

The Buffaloes start their Pac-12 season at hosting the Arizona State Sun Devils at Folsom Field in Boulder. The Arizona State Sun Devils come off of a 10-7 road upset of the Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing, while the Buffaloes came back after a slow start, but still came up short in a 23-30 overtime loss at home in Boulder.

This is the Pac-12 opener for both teams, and would both love to begin their conference seasons with a win.

This is the best defense the Buffaloes have faced all year with the Sun Devils surrendering seven points in each game.

For the Sun Devils, this is the best offense they’ve faced with strong-armed senior quarterback Steven Montez and the wide receiver duo of All-American candidate Laviska Shenault Jr. and speedy K.D. Nixon. Can the Buffaloes find a way to defeat the Sun Devils?
