2. Oklahoma State’s trio on offense is the real deal

Oklahoma State is a legit offense that can score at any time. They have a redshirt freshman quarterback in Spencer Sanders who could be the best quarterback in the Big 12 by the time he is a junior or senior. Chuba Hubbard is their stud running back who the Cowboys fed 37 times and Tylan Wallace is potentially the best receiver in the nation.

All three of those guys have potential to be playing on Sundays.

Sanders had some plays where he looked like a freshman, but also showed his potential. He rushed for over 100 yards with a score and was 19-for-32 passing for 268 yards as well as two interceptions. Hubbard ran hard the whole night and had 121 yards and two touchdowns, but it took him 37 attempts to get that. Wallace had 83 yards on five catches.

While the trio did enough to keep Oklahoma State in the game, Texas’ defense did a great job keeping them in check and if it wasn’t for the two muffed punts, the score wouldn’t have been as close.
