2. Alabama

The Tide rolled again on Saturday, this time against Southern Miss. The final score was 49-7, and it was never in doubt.

Tua Tagovailoa went 17-of-21 for 293 yards and five touchdowns. Henry Ruggs caught 148 of those yards, and Jerry Jeduy accounted for 96. Najee Harris added 110 yards on the ground.

The Alabama defense held the Golden Eagles to just 52 yards rushing, and under 200 yards through the air.

Saturday was just another methodical beatdown. It’s a weekly occurrence for these two teams at the top.
