D’Eriq King shocked the college football world by announcing his redshirt for the season. If he decides to transfer, here are his three best destinations.
D’Eriq King’s dad shocked the college football world by announcing his son will sit out the remainder of the 2019 season, planning to transfer in 2020.
The story is still going back and forth, as he could potentially transfer as a graduate with immediate eligibility, or stay on for another year with Houston. All sides of this story are still fluctuating, but for now it’s interesting to see and speculate where he may end up.
King is one of the most electric players in college football at the top of his game. Although his season for Houston hasn’t gone according to plan, you can bet a long list of suitors will still be interested in his talents, if he decides to transfer.
With that being said, here are the three destinations best situated for King’s talent and pedigree. For the purposes of this article, I’m not picking Oklahoma because, A. It’s too obvious, and B. I really want to see Spencer Rattler play.
