2. Michigan State

This one is an obvious talent over fit dilemma, as this isn’t the typical quarterback that Mark Dantonio usually deploys but if there was ever an opportunity to take a chance on something new, this is it for the Spartans.

Michigan State has a top five defense in all of college football. While they will lose some seniors, it is a defense that will continue to be very good, and I believe will still sit in the top 20 nationally next year as well.

The offense, meanwhile, makes Michigan look like the 1999 Rams. They struggle to move the ball at times, and it’s been clear for a couple of years the system needs an update. A player of King’s caliber could be the one to jump-start that team, and if he can prove it in the Big Ten, he might even improve his draft stock.
