Another head-to-head tiebreaker in this one, Washington has really taken care of business since their loss to Cal a few weeks ago.

This looked like a couple of potential trap games against Hawaii and BYU, but the Huskies dominated, as Jacob Eason efficiently picked apart the Cougars defense.

Overall, this season is probably a different story if there isn’t a weather delay in their game against Cal, but the Huskies are once again looking like the class of the conference.

The Golden Bears continue to do it. It’s never pretty, and it will never be a blowout, but we have a defense that can still win any game on their schedule.

Cal is limited on offense, but the difference between the start this season and the start last season is that they’ve beaten somewhat competitive teams this season, including Washington, who they beat last season. This could be a special year for Cal, but I don’t see the Bears as the best team in the country. They could’ve easily lost to Washington and Ole Miss, and kept North Texas in the game until the end.

Their reckoning may come soon, with Oregon looming, but the run for Cal has been fun nonetheless.

Just when we thought the Auburn loss would derail the Ducks this season. But now they’re rolling, and this team can attack you in a lot of different ways.

They have a strong defense, led by an elite pass rush that had five sacks last week.

A strong passing game, Justin Herbert again was efficient and killer in this week, throwing three touchdowns. CJ Verdell leads a talented group of attacking talent for the Ducks.

There was a lot of hype for Oregon to start the season, and I think this team has the potential to win out. They win in the trenches, and still have the best quarterback in the conference. They were the better team for three and a half quarters against Auburn, and probably should’ve won that one.

They get a bye week and tough for game stretch coming up, starting with Cal at home. If they can get through those four games, they very likely could be in the playoff come January. This team is very good.
