2020 NFL Mock Draft, Week 5: SEC dominates first round
The Atlanta Falcons defensive line could look a lot different next season with both Vic Beasley and Grady Jarrett potentially not returning.
Picking up an edge rusher is crucial for the Falcons if this is the case. And K’Lavon Chaisson out of LSU is the perfect pick to fill the void. He would be expected to start or play a key role immediately and has the abilities to be able to do so.
Chaisson is actually player to watch move of the draft boards throughout the season. From size to speed, Chaisson has NFL scouts raving about his ability versatility and quickness.
Why such high praise? All of these opinions are coming primarily from Chaisson’s freshman season as he missed all but one game in 2018 with an ACL injury. In 2019, he has showed that the injury has done nothing but motivate him to be better and faster.
