Arizona State football faces a tough Week 5 matchup against No. 15 Cal on the road. Will the Sun Devils have enough firepower to pull off the upset?

Four weeks into the season, we still don’t know much about Arizona State. The Sun Devils struggled offensively through the first two weeks of the year, and even in Week 3, but still went on the road to beat a ranked Michigan State team.

That was all wiped away with a Week 4 loss to Colorado, but there’s still plenty of optimism surrounding Herm Edwards’ program.

Cal presents a tough matchup in Week 5, especially on the road, but the Sun Devils proved they can win away from home already.

Here are three of our boldest predictions for the Arizona State vs. Cal battle.

3. Eno Benjamin reaches 100 yards

Eno Benjamin rushed for over 1,600 yards a year ago and expectations were sky-high entering the 2019 season. The junior running back was even thought to be the top rusher in the Pac-12 before the season, but everything has gone wrong for him through four weeks.

In fact, he has just 292 yards and three touchdowns on a career-low 3.8 yards per carry. He has looked rather pedestrian this season behind a mediocre offensive line.

On the year, he has just one 100-yard game and that came in the opener versus Kent State and he needed 22 rushes to get there. He’ll break the 100-yard mark for the second time in five weeks and put the “junior slump” behind him, using it as a momentum shift in his season.

I’ll say 135 yards and two touchdowns for the talented rusher.
